Welcome to Samadhi Yoga, a unique yoga studio located in Welland that offers traditional Hatha and Vinyasa yoga in a warm and inviting environment. Our studio is heated using FAR infrared radiant ceiling panels, providing a gentle and therapeutic heat for our students. Each yoga mat is strategically placed under a FAR infrared panel to maximize the benefits of FAR infrared sauna therapy. Our studio floor is made of hydro-cork flooring, providing a natural and renewable material that offers thermal and sound insulation as well as support underfoot.
Hatha yoga involves slow and deliberate movements into different poses that challenge strength and flexibility while focusing on relaxation and mindfulness. Special emphasis is placed on controlled breathing and good posture, with poses held for several breaths. Benefits of Hatha yoga include stress reduction, improved mood, flexibility, and core strength. Vinyasa yoga, on the other hand, involves flowing from one pose directly to another, transitioning with the breath.
This style can be physically challenging and offers benefits such as improved strength, endurance, and stress reduction.
Our FAR infrared heat therapy differs from traditional saunas by heating the body directly, rather than warming the surrounding air. This type of heat therapy can produce results similar to moderate exercise, such as sweating and increased heart rate, at lower temperatures. Benefits of FAR infrared sauna therapy include improved cardiovascular conditioning and stress reduction.
