Saltergate Yoga

Saltergate Yoga is a vibrant and welcoming yoga studio located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Established in 2013 by Mr. and Mrs. Clarke, this independent “Yoga Space” is an extension of their home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for practitioners of all levels.

With their passion for yoga and their extensive training, Mr. and Mrs. Clarke have been teaching classes in their studio since 2013, helping individuals discover the benefits of a regular yoga practise.

At Saltergate Yoga, their aim is to provide intelligent hatha yoga classes that are suitable for beginners and improvers. These classes focus on functional anatomical practise, emphasising strength and flexibility. Each class is 75 minutes in duration and costs 10. The studio offers four classes a week, held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6.

30pm to 7. 45pm.

In addition to their regular classes, Saltergate Yoga also offers a monthly Restorative Yin, Somatics, and Meditation class on Fridays at 6. 45pm. These classes provide an opportunity for deep relaxation and restoration, allowing participants to release tension and cultivate inner peace. The dates for these monthly classes are predetermined, with sessions held on the 12th of January, 9th of February, and 8th of March in 2024.

One of the unique aspects of Saltergate Yoga is that their teaching space is exclusively used by them, minimising the risk of any infections. The studio has always adhered to strict cleaning protocols, regardless of the current COVID-19 situation, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all practitioners. With designated spaces available, Saltergate Yoga can accommodate a maximum of 18 participants per class.

Saltergate Yoga prides itself on treating everyone who comes to their studio with equality and respect. There are no special offers, memberships, or block bookings. The practise is open to all, and participants are encouraged to attend classes whenever they can, understanding that life can sometimes get in the way. Mr.

and Mrs. Clarke are there to facilitate and support each individual's yoga practise journey.

To book classes at Saltergate Yoga, participants can use the studio's online booking system. All classes are paid for individually, with a cost of 10 per session. It is important to note that the classes at Saltergate Yoga are not suitable for pregnancy. Furthermore, any customer accounts or information registered before June 2023 have been removed in line with the studio's privacy and GDPR protocols.
