Join Tamworth Sailing Club for the RYA Start Racing Course starting on June 5th! This course is perfect for both members and non-members who are looking to enhance their sailing skills and potentially earn RYA certification. The course features a great student-to-instructor ratio and will cover important theoretical aspects straight from the RYA Handbook. Each Wednesday evening session will run from 6pm to around 10pm, giving participants plenty of on-water practice to hone their skills.
Safety is a top priority at Tamworth Sailing Club, with buoyancy aids required at all times on jetties or in boats. Participants will need to provide emergency contact details and medication information, and it's important to let the Senior Instructor know about any pre-existing injuries. The course offers a fantastic opportunity to learn racing skills from experienced RYA Instructors and dedicated volunteers.
