Tamworth Sailing Club invites all sailing enthusiasts to join the RYA Start Racing course, kicking off on June 5th and running every Wednesday evening for 5 weeks. Even if you're not a member, you're welcome to jump in on this great opportunity to hone your racing skills. The course will run from 6pm to about 10pm each day, with a cool 1 instructor to 4 students ratio. You'll get to brush up on theory work straight from the RYA Handbook, which will only make your practical skills on the water even better.
Your safety is a big deal, which is why everyone out on the water must wear buoyancy aids. Plus, don't forget to give the instructors your emergency contact info and any details about medications or injuries you're dealing with.
