Royal City Aikido

Royal City Aikido is a martial arts and self-defence school located in Guelph, offering traditional Japanese Aikido training in the Iwama Ryu style. Led by Chief Instructor Jarek Adamuszewski, who holds the rank of Yondan (4th dan) under the Aikidai Federation in Tokyo, Japan, our dojo follows the teachings of the Aikikai organization, the largest Aikido organization in the world.

Sensei Jarek Adamuszewski began his Aikido journey in 2002 under the guidance of Stefan Barton Sensei and has trained with renowned instructors in California and Japan, honing his skills in both empty hand techniques (taijutsu) and weapon techniques (bukiwaza). At Royal City Aikido, we offer classes for adults and children, focusing on self-defence, confidence building, fitness, and mindfulness.

Our class schedule includes taijutsu and bukiwaza training sessions throughout the week, with special kids classes for children in Grades 1 to 6. We also offer mindfulness routines as part of our training program, promoting mental wellbeing and focus. Membership fees are affordable, and new students can enjoy a one week free trial to experience our training firsthand.
