Hey sports community,
Terry, your organiser, has found a gem of a spot for our next retreat – Reforge Retreat & Campsite in Beaworthy, Devon. This place is perfect for a mix of camping, pub time, and a bit of chill. Terry reckons it's got everything we need to wind down and have some fun.
Imagine staying in cosy cabins, a holiday cottage, or even glamping! There's heaps of space for our tents and campervans, and plenty of hammock spots to lounge around.
The onsite pub, Reforge Inn, is a treat. It’s fully licenced and has a fab selection of local gins, beers, and ales. It's got that old-school vibe, a great spot for some banter and meeting new folks.
Terry’s also lined up some activities for us. There's a cool workshop area that can take up to six people – great for some team-building or creative sessions.
We're half a mile from the Ruby Way Cycle path, perfect for some cycling. Dartmoor and the coasts are just a 20-minute drive away for those looking for a hiking adventure or a beach day.
Onsite, we’ve got retro board games and an arts and crafts gallery. Plus, nearby pubs like the Black River Inn and the Half Moon are just waiting for us to check them out. For a day trip, how about the Eden Project or Tintagel? They're not too far.
Need to stock up? No worries, there are supermarkets just ten minutes away, and some charming market towns nearby too. For the beach bums, Bude’s sandy beaches and surfing spots are only 17 miles away.
Terry can't wait for us to take in the peace and beauty of Devon’s countryside. Reforge Retreat & Campsite, on Bonfire Hill, Black Torrington, Beaworthy, is waiting for us to enjoy an unforgettable experience.
Cheers,
