Rathdrum Gymnastics Club

The Rathdrum Gymnastics Club, located in Corballis, Rathdrum, has been a pillar of the community for over 40 years, serving the children of Rathdrum and surrounding areas with quality gymnastics training. The club offers classes in Womens Artistic, Mens Artistic, Gymnastics for all, and Trampolining, covering a variety of disciplines including Floor, Vault, Asymmetric Bars, High Bar, Parallel Bars, Beam, and Trampoline. Basic Tumbling skills are also taught on the 12m Airtrack.

As a voluntary organisation, the Rathdrum Gymnastics Club relies on the support and goodwill of the local community. All coaches at the club are certified by Gymnastics Ireland/Coaching Ireland and have undergone Garda Vetting. Additionally, all members are registered with Gymnastics Ireland, ensuring a high standard of training and safety for all participants.

The club welcomes boys and girls aged 6 years and over, offering classes for beginners and more experienced gymnasts alike. Classes are held on Saturdays from 2pm-4pm, with an additional class for competition gymnasts and trampolinists from 4pm-5pm. Head coach Les oversees the training sessions, bringing years of experience and expertise to the club.

To accommodate the busy schedules of parents and students, the Rathdrum Gymnastics Club also offers classes for Primary Schools, both during and after school hours. Summer camps are available for booking from April onwards, providing children with a fun and engaging way to stay active during the school holidays.

The clubs training facility is located in the Avondale GAA Hall, conveniently situated just outside Rathdrum on the road towards Avoca. With a diverse range of classes and expert coaching staff, the Rathdrum Gymnastics Club continues to be a popular choice for families in the area looking to introduce their children to the exciting world of gymnastics.
