Led by our experienced and dedicated coach, Kevin Derrington, Pure Grappling Penzance provides top-notch coaching and training methods that result in fast gains in performance, improved fitness, increased problem-solving abilities, and overall strength. Coach K has an impressive lineage, holding a Black Belt from Mitsuyo Maeda to Carlos Gracie Sr. , Helio Gracie, Carlos Gracie Junior, Braulio Estima, Kenny Baker, and finally, Kevin Derrington himself.
At Pure Grappling Penzance, we pride ourselves on having a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We believe that our members form a tight-knit community and are some of the nicest, albeit possibly strangest, people you could ever meet. We are all passionate about martial arts and are eager to take each other down, execute sweeps, chokes, arm bars, and more.

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer specialised workshops and seminars with guest instructors to further enhance our members' knowledge and skills in martial arts.
