Acrobatic Gymnastics
A competitive gymnastic discipline where teams of gymnasts perform dance and tumbling, with acrobatic moves, set to music. The three types of routines are balance, dynamic and combined. They can focus on aspects of strength, poise, flexibility, throws, catches and somersaults. Competitions are broken into age and team size categories with teams being made up of gymnasts with attributes that compliment each other.
