Welcome to P. S. Trampoline & Gymnastics Club, a top trampoline and gymnastics club located in Portsmouth. With over 15 years of experience, we offer structured trampolining lessons for children aged 5–15 years old.
Our venues include the John Pounds Centre and Portsmouth High School, and we also run holiday camps in trampolining and gymnastics in partnership with the John Pounds Centre.
At P. S. Trampoline & Gymnastics Club, we prioritise the well-being and development of our members. We have created a friendly and positive environment where children can thrive.
Our classes cater to beginners through to advanced levels, ensuring that every child can participate and progress. Our sessions are taught by experienced and fully qualified BG trampoline coaches, with a coach-to-child ratio of 1:5 in every session.
In addition to teaching trampolining skills, we also focus on the future development of coaches through our Leadership Academy. Pupils aged 12 and above have the opportunity to volunteer their time during sessions, gaining valuable experience and assisting with coaching. This supports their progression towards coaching qualifications in the future.
We offer trampoline sessions at the John Pounds Centre on Mondays and Saturdays. On Mondays, we have sessions for beginners, intermediate level, and advanced level (somersaulting). At P. S. Trampoline & Gymnastics Club, the safety of our members is paramount. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we have implemented certain protocols.
Sessions start at specific times to avoid clashes with other activities in the building. We kindly request that members arrive 5 minutes early and wait in the reception area. For parents, we have a viewing gallery where you can observe the session. Sanitising stations are available throughout the centre for customers and staff to use.
At the end of each session, pupils will be brought back to the reception area for parents to collect them.
We recommend wearing suitable clothing for sports, such as leotards, shorts, and t-shirts. It is important to bring socks and have plenty of water for hydration during the sessions.
At P. S. Trampoline & Gymnastics Club, we are proud to have a dedicated team of coaches. Our head coach, Michael, also serves as the safeguarding and welfare officer for the club.
Lauren is our trampoline assistant coach and parent liaison officer, while Skye supports as a trampoline assistant coach and admin assistant. They are available on Mondays and Saturdays to provide guidance and support to our members.
