Prittie Yoga, based in Egham, offers Hatha Yoga and Energy Medicine Yoga classes for all ages. Emily, the instructor, is genuinely passionate about yoga and continues to learn and grow with every session she leads. Her approach is gentle and mindful, encouraging exploration and self-care.
Emily started her journey with Energy Medicine Yoga in 2019 and is now one of only four advanced EMY teachers in the UK. This unique practice combines yoga with energy medicine, helping with healing and self-regulation. Simple movements energise the body and can help with ailments like arthritis and indigestion.
In 2020, Emily set up the Resilo Energy Physiotherapy clinic, becoming one of a select few senior Resilo therapists worldwide. Here, she learns and teaches the body’s language, helping others connect with their own bodies. She loves sharing her knowledge about the energy systems we all have within us.
Emily’s classes are all about freeing trapped energy and making participants feel fantastic. She's especially keen on supporting teens and offers classes that contribute towards The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Her sessions cater to all levels, from beginners to those with varying mobility, aiming to create space and ease within the body.
Prittie Yoga also hosts retreats and events, giving people a chance to focus on personal well-being and spiritual growth amidst their busy lives.
To further support her community, Emily offers a free guide that helped her overcome burnout. These practices can be incorporated daily to boost energy, vitality, and ease stress.
Classes take place at Thorpe Community Hall, TW20 8SJ:
- Mondays at 9:30 am and 8:15 pm
- Wednesday chair yoga at 10:45 am
- Thursdays at 6:30 pm.
