Postnatal Mummy and Baby Yoga classes are held every Wednesday during term time from 11:30am to 12:30pm at the Lanivet one for all Community Centre in Lanivet. These classes are perfect for Mummy and Baby duos, from 6 weeks old to fast crawlers. Lotus Blue Yoga, Holistic Therapies & Bespoke Massage aims to provide a nurturing environment for postnatal recovery, while also incorporating songs, sensory aspects, and gentle movement for the baby.
Attending postnatal yoga classes is not only a great way to connect with your baby, but also an opportunity to meet other new mothers in your area. It gives you the chance to focus on your own self-care during this special time, while simultaneously bonding with your little one. These classes create a space for rest, self-reflection, and building strength and relaxation. They also address common postnatal concerns such as pelvic floor and core reconnection, strengthening the lower back, stabilising the pelvis after pregnancy, and releasing tension in the neck and shoulders. Baby will be entertained with singing, gentle movement, and sensory items to enhance their experience.
To secure your spot, the classes require upfront payment by term time blocks, starting from £59 for a 6-week term. It's important to note that spaces are limited and booking is only for the duration of the term. Unfortunately, missed classes cannot be carried over to the next term. However, if you can't commit to a full term, a drop-in rate of £12 per class is also offered, subject to availability and advance booking. Our dedicated instructor provides all the necessary yoga equipment, but we kindly ask participants to bring water, baby essentials, a blanket for the baby to lie on, and a blanket or cushion for themselves. We want our participants to feel comfortable, so wearing loose and comfortable clothing is recommended.
If you'd like more information or to secure your spot in these relaxing and beneficial classes, please visit our website and fill out the form or send us a message through our Facebook page. We look forward to sharing the wonderful world of postnatal yoga with you and your baby. Namaste!
