Janice, an experienced certified yoga instructor with a background in midwifery, invites you to these enjoyable and relaxed classes. It's the perfect opportunity for mums to bond with their babies while getting back in shape.
The first part of the class focuses on strengthening and improving flexibility for mums. Janice will address common postnatal issues such as pelvic floor health, backache, tension release, and tummy separation. These exercises will help you regain your strength and mobility.
The second part of the class is all about the babies! Janice will guide you through baby massage, movements, and play, creating a joyful and stimulating environment for your little ones. Many parents have noticed that their babies sleep soundly after the class, which is always a welcome bonus!
These classes are suitable for mums and babies aged 6 weeks to around 9–11 months. However, if you had a vaginal delivery, it's advisable to check with your GP before joining. The drop-in class fee for this Thursday is set at £12.50. Alternatively, you can opt for a block booking of six classes, priced at £65.00, to be used within 6 weeks. If you can't make it to a scheduled class, no worries! You can use your block booking for another yoga class within the 6-week period.
To ensure your comfort and convenience, please bring your own yoga mat and a blanket for your baby to lay on. The classes will be held at Our Lady Church Hall, located at 147 Bingham Road, Addiscombe, Croydon CR0 7 EN.
It's essential to note that drop-in class bookings are non-refundable but can be transferred with more than 24 hours' notice. For block bookings, they must be used within 6 weeks, but if you need to make a change, alternative class options are available with 24 hours' notice.
