Pointe du Chne Yacht Club

The Pointe-du-Chne Yacht Club, or PCYC, is your gateway to sun, sand, and sea in Southeast New Brunswick. Established in 1978, PCYC is located in Shediac, New Brunswick, on the western side of the Northumberland Strait and is within walking distance of several restaurants, boutiques, and attractions such as the popular Parlee Beach. The marina setting offers convenient and affordable berthing from May until October, with vessels being enclosed. The yacht club is operated by a manager and guided by an elected board of directors.

To find PCYC, boaters can take a heading to the FR range lights at Belliveau Beach from the Fairway buoy (XN), progress to the QR buoy (XN12), and follow a specific route that includes various buoys and range lights. For those arriving by road, the club is easily accessible from HWY-15 by taking Exit 37 onto HWY-140 towards Shediac/Parlee Beach.

PCYC hosts a variety of events and news updates for members and boaters in the local community, such as boat launches, job opportunities for FT/PT student marina attendants, and the Annual General Meeting. The club's social calendar includes events like the PCYC Summer BBQ, meet and greet nights, and participation in boat shows.
