Platinum Athletics is a dance school located in Pooraka, South Australia. Founded in 2019 by Miss Tayla, Platinum Athletics is more than just a club, it is a family. The entire culture of the club is built around the values of love, support, dedication, commitment, and kindness. The staff at Platinum Athletics take the time to personally get to know each athlete, parent or caregiver, and anyone who walks through the doors of the gym.
This creates a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels safe, wanted, included, and special.

Platinum Athletics offers a range of programmes for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, there is something for everyone. Their programmes include cheerleading, pom, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop, tumble, and recreational cheer and dance. They also offer free trials for those interested in joining.
Platinum Athletics opened its doors in late 2018 and is heading into its fifth competitive season in 2023. The staff is dedicated to making this season their biggest and best yet. They are passionate about creating a strong and empowered community of athletes who feel loved and supported. Their mission is to provide a safe and positive learning environment where athletes can have fun, make lifelong friendships, and reach their full potential.

Cheerleading is one of the main sports offered at Platinum Athletics. It is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world and is commonly seen in movies like the “Bring It On” franchise. Cheerleading combines athleticism, including jumps, tumbling, stunts, motions, and dance choreography. It is a unique and fun way to build fitness, make close friendships, and improve self-esteem.
