Nikki from Pinnacle Dance has a message for the sports community 🌟

Nikki runs Pinnacle Dance, a dance school in Nottingham, offering fun and friendly classes for children aged 3 to 18. With a strong focus on performance, Nikki aims to provide wonderful opportunities for young dancers to showcase their talents. Nikki believes in empowering dancers to have confidence in themselves and strive for their best.

Pinnacle Dance offers various classes designed to boost confidence and enhance both physical and expressive dance skills. The dance styles available include Senior Contemporary, Senior Modern Jazz, Senior Street, Acrotrix, Musical Theatre, Advanced Contemporary, Advanced Modern Jazz, Advanced Street, Junior Contemporary, Junior Modern Jazz, Junior Street, Little Stars Street, Mini Contemporary/Modern Jazz, Mini Street, and Acrotrix.

Modern Jazz is all about high energy and theatrical flair, featuring travelling steps, high kicks, leaps, and turns. Street Dance, a blend of styles like old school hip hop, popping, locking, break-dancing, Jazz, Contemporary, and commercial dance, brings a fusion of movements. Contemporary dance combines modern, jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet elements to create fluid movements that connect the mind and body. Musical Theatre classes focus on singing, acting, and dancing, turning dancers into “triple threats” and boosting their self-confidence.

For the more adventurous, Acrotrix classes follow a specific syllabus designed to make dancers flexible, strong, and skilful in performing tricks.

Dancers at Pinnacle Dance also get the chance to perform in the school’s annual showcases and represent the school in local and regional performances, competitions, and workshops throughout the year.
