Bramcote Swimming Club, founded in 1965, is Nottingham’s gem for all things swimming. Led by the dedicated team under Jane Doe, the club has been fostering swimmers' potential and passion ever since.
Bramcote’s got it all: from top-notch training and a supportive community to a ton of fun. Everyone’s respected – whether you’re a swimmer, parent, coach, or official. The club's all about training hard, competing fiercely, and having a blast while doing it.
Jane Doe ensures the club provides a safe and friendly space where swimmers work together, whether they're training in the pool or competing in events. Team spirit and individual growth go hand-in-hand here.
Competing locally and nationally? You bet! Bramcote hosts annual club championships and takes part in various competitions across the UK. It's all about representing the club with pride, whether you're aiming for a local gala or going for gold at the nationals.
Bramcote Swimming Club’s partnership with Broxtowe Council and local schools helps to grow their membership and promote the sport. They’re also a feeder club for Nottingham Nova Centurion, giving swimmers a shot at even bigger opportunities.
Jane Doe has expanded the club’s splash zone to include Bramcote AquaStars, the region’s largest artistic swimming team. Competing nationally, they’re perfect for those who love to add a bit of flair to their swim.
Starting young? The Bramcote Swimming Club Academy preps kids aged 4 and up, working with local swim schools to boost their skills. Got skills already? Competent swimmers of any age can join and get assessed for the right group.
Sessions, led by Swim England Level 2 teachers and backed by poolside volunteers, are held at Bramcote Leisure Centre and The Lenton Centre. Safety's a top priority – all staff are fully trained and DBS checked.
Bramcote’s swimmers hit the road, competing in places like Hucknall, Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, and more, while also hosting events on their own turf.
Curious about what Bramcote’s all about? Jane Doe and her team invite you to observe a session and try a free taster. Their website’s packed with info on how to join and get in touch.
Bramcote Swimming Club is all about celebrating swimming, delivering quality training, and building a rock-solid community for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Dive in and see for yourself!
