Laura Newbury, the owner and lead instructor at Pilates Back To Health, is one of the top Pilates teachers in Norfolk. With over 13 years of experience, Laura specialises in low back pain and utilises manual therapy and exercise to help her clients. She is also trained in Exercise Referral, Nutrition, and Weight Management, allowing her to provide comprehensive health and wellness services.
Laura's own journey as a fitness instructor began over 13 years ago after experiencing low back pain and undergoing emergency spine surgery. Motivated by her own struggles with weight and confidence, Laura decided to pursue a career in fitness to help others and improve her own physical health. She started teaching exercise classes, eventually discovering her passion for Zumba, which she has been teaching for over 13 years. However, Laura knew she needed to incorporate more core strength-based exercises into her teaching to address her ongoing low back pain.
This led her to discover the benefits of Pilates, which she now incorporates into her classes and private sessions.
Through her extensive training in Pilates and other disciplines, Laura has not only improved her own physical and mental health but has also helped countless clients over the years. She finds great joy in being a fitness coach and is dedicated to helping others reach their health and wellness goals.
