About
At Pilates 4, Amanda brings her passion for movement to life, offering a dynamic range of classes suited for every individual. From athletes needing prehab or rehab to pregnant and postnatal clients, Amanda has crafted a programme that caters to everyone’s specific needs.
Her extensive training with Body Control Pilates, a renowned UK educational centre, has equipped her with the skills to deliver safe, effective, and personalised sessions. After mastering matwork, she went on to train with studio equipment like the Reformer, Cadillac, and Chair. Amanda ensures no two classes are ever the same, embracing creativity to solve movement restrictions and focusing on clients' strengths.
With a background in classical ballet, gymnastics, and various sports, Amanda understands the profound impact of Pilates firsthand. It helped her manage chronic pain and hypermobility, especially through pregnancy and beyond.
Amanda specialises in training individuals with neurological conditions like multiple sclerosis, tailoring appropriate movement to combat chronic pain and sedentary lifestyles. Her expertise also includes helping those with conditions such as hypermobility, EDS, and post-viral recovery from illnesses like Covid.
Beyond the physical benefits, the mindful approach in Pilates has a transformative effect on mental well-being. Amanda seamlessly combines physical strength, flexibility, and mental concentration to offer a holistic approach to wellness.
