Sarah Hudgell's Personal Training club in St Albans offers a range of Pilates classes that cater to people of all ages, levels, and abilities. Held in the Redbourn Primary School hall, these classes provide a fantastic opportunity to improve performance in specific sports, alleviate aches and pains, recover from injuries or pregnancy, and build strength and confidence.
The focus of the Pilates classes at Sarah Hudgell's club is on quality rather than quantity. This approach ensures that the risk of injury is minimised while targeting and strengthening weaker areas of the body. Each movement is guided by the contraction of the deep abdominal muscles, known as the 'core'. At the Redbourn Primary School hall, the Pilates classes follow a personal training approach. The instructor ensures that everyone understands the exercises and performs them with proper technique. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, participants are required to bring their own mat, small head support, or towel. It is also advisable to bring water for hydration. Wearing comfortable clothing that allows the instructor to observe your movements is recommended.
Classes are typically booked on a half-termly basis, costing £10 each. These blocks generally span between 6 and 8 weeks. Please note that classes are only held during school terms. While missed sessions are non-refundable, if space is available, attendees are welcome to join another class within the same week.
