Are you the owner of Pelham Pilates?
Pelham Pilates, located in Furneux Pelham, is a welcoming and inclusive Pilates studio serving the Pelhams and the surrounding area. Conveniently situated just a 15-minute drive from both Bishops Stortford and Buntingford, Pelham Pilates is easily accessible to anyone in the area.
The studio is owned and operated by Jessica Gridley, a Stott trained Pilates instructor specialising in both mat and reformer Pilates. Jessica's personal journey with Pilates began when she experienced lower back issues and sought a different solution than traditional chiropractic visits. Not only did Pilates help alleviate her back problems, but she also discovered a deep love for the practise. Now, as an enthusiastic instructor, Jessica aims to share the benefits of Pilates with others.
As a keen horse rider, Jessica understands firsthand the advantages of Pilates for both horse and rider. The practise of Pilates promotes balance and suppleness, improving the partnership between rider and horse.
Pelham Pilates follows the Stott method, a contemporary approach to Pilates developed by a team of fitness professionals and medically trained physical therapists. This method is ideal for combating the stresses and strains of modern life on both the body and mind. The benefits of Stott Pilates are numerous and quickly accessible. They encompass core strength, increased flexibility, improved posture, enhanced stability and balance, muscle toning, better athletic performance, heightened body awareness, relief from back pain, and a more calm and balanced outlook on life.
Pelham Pilates offers a range of options to cater to individual preferences and needs. Mat classes are available in both one-on-one sessions or small group settings, either indoors or outdoors. Reformer classes provide individualised attention and training. For those who prefer the convenience of virtual training, Zoom classes are offered for individuals or small groups.
