The gym is open during staffed hours, which are as follows: Monday to Friday from 5am to 7:30am and 4pm to 7:30pm, and on weekends from 7am to 10am. This convenient schedule ensures that members have ample opportunity to work out at their preferred times.

One of the outstanding features of Peak Sports Performance Centre is the availability of New Zealand's only commercially-operated altitude simulation chamber. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, this chamber can simulate altitudes of up to 5000m, enabling members to experience the benefits of training at high altitudes. Over time, as the body adapts to the simulated environment, members will witness improvements in their training capacity, including higher intensity, increased output, and extended workout duration. The advantages gained from altitude training go beyond what can be achieved through traditional forms of exercise, yielding benefits such as muscle hypertrophy, improved cardio fitness (VO2 Max), enhanced endurance and lactate threshold, altitude acclimatisation, and effective weight and body fat management.

Research has shown that just three 30-minute sessions per week at a simulated altitude of 3000-3500m can result in significantly superior training outcomes compared to sea-level training.

Furthermore, Peak Sports Performance Centre also offers a state-of-the-art Fit3D Body Composition Scanner. This scanning technology allows members to safely, privately, and accurately capture and track valuable data related to their wellness and body shape goals. The scanner provides information such as a 3D avatar, circumference measurements, body composition analysis, posture analytics, weight, balance, and much more. With access to their scan results on their phone or computer, members can take the guesswork out of their training and customise their fitness routines based on their individual goals and progress.
