Join John on a scenic walk from the Parriwi Lighthouse in North Mosman down to the Middle Head Peninsula. This 6 km walk offers stunning views of the coastline and is a great opportunity to experience the beauty of the area. The Hiking club, Southern Cross Outdoors Group, invites all interested players to join in on this exciting event.
During the hike, participants will have the chance to marvel at the Parriwi Lighthouse, an important mariner's beacon, and admire the breathtaking views that come with living in one of the most expensive real estate areas in Australia. It truly is a sight to behold.
The second half of the walk is optional and will depend on the weather and individual preferences. Once we reach Middle Head Road, participants can choose to continue southwards for more spectacular views, head eastwards to Obelisk Beach, or go westwards to catch transportation back to the city. The choice is yours.
This walk will be carried out at a sensible pace, with easy paths and rest stops along the way to ensure everyone's comfort. It's significant to stay hydrated, so please bring more than a liter of water, pack a delicious lunch, and don't forget to check the weather forecast to make appropriate preparations.
The meeting point for this exciting event is at Stand A, Carrington Street, Wynyard, where we will gather to catch bus 173X.
