Paignton Tai Chi Studio, located at 74 Totnes Road, Paignton TQ4 5LD, is a Tai Chi school in Paignton, New Zealand. With a mission to provide high-quality tuition in Tai Chi, Qigong, Taoist Yoga, and Kung Fu, the studio offers a range of classes, individual lessons, and monthly workshops.

The studio offers a range of classes throughout the week, including Qigong on Tuesdays at 11 am, Tai Chi on Wednesdays at 11:30 am and 6:30 pm, and Kung Fu on Wednesdays at 7:45 pm. There is also a Tai Chi class on Fridays at 11 am, followed by an Open Studio at 1:30 pm.
Classes are open to beginners, and there is no need to book in advance students can simply come along and join.
In addition to regular classes, Paignton Tai Chi Studio hosts monthly workshops that provide an opportunity for students to deepen their understanding and practise of Tai Chi. The studio also offers online lessons through Hand of the Wind Taijiquan's unique online learning system, allowing students to learn Tai Chi and Qigong from the comfort of their own homes.
One of the highlights of Paignton Tai Chi Studio is the 10 Week Beginner's Tai Chi Course, an ideal introduction for those new to Tai Chi. Taught by Conrad, this course covers the basic principles of Tai Chi, including Tai Chi Form training and Taoyin Qigong. Unfortunately, the course starting on January 10th, 2024, is already fully booked, but beginners are always welcome to join the regular 'open' classes. The course requires a total payment of 80, which includes a 10 deposit to secure a place and the remaining balance payable at the first class session.
