Learn To Dive, a scuba diving club in Manchester, is excited to promote the upcoming PADI Basic Freediver course. This course is a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in the fast-growing sport of Freediving and apnea.
During the course, participants will learn fundamental freediving principles and breathhold techniques in a pool or confined water site. You'll be amazed at how much confidence you can gain in the water and what you can achieve! It's important to note that anyone 12 years old or older can enrol in the PADI Basic Freediver course. You don't need any prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving, or freediving. Just bring your love for the water and a good level of swimming skills.
The cost of the course is £125, which includes all necessary equipment and pool fees. If there are any entrance fees to dive sites, those will be charged separately, if applicable. Additionally, please keep in mind that the Freediver touch is not included in the course cost and is charged separately. However, if you're also taking the full PADI Freediver course, you'll only need to pay for the Freediver touch once, not twice.
To get started, you'll be using basic snorkelling equipment such as a mask, snorkel, and fins. If you don't have these, don't worry! Our club provides all the specialist freediving equipment you'll need to ensure a proper and enjoyable experience. Of course, if you prefer to use your own equipment, feel free to bring it along.
Wondering when the next PADI Basic Freediver course is? Simply check out our Google calendar, and you'll find all the available dates. In case you can't find any dates that work for you, please don't hesitate to contact Steve at steve@freedivers.co.uk or give us a call at (0) 7940 998915. We'll do our best to accommodate you and find a suitable course date.
Once you've chosen your desired course date, reserve your spot by making the corresponding payment on the next page. Upon purchasing the course, you'll receive Medical & Liability forms. Please make sure to fill them in and bring them with you on the day of the course. If you answered 'yes' to any of the questions in the forms, you'll need to have a doctor's signature, confirming your safety to participate in freediving.
Congratulations! You've completed the registration process, and we're thrilled to have you on board. In the next day or two, you'll receive an email from us with further course information, including some exercises to help you get started.
Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to explore the world of Freediving with Learn To Dive. We can't wait to see you at the course and share this incredible sport with you!
