Learn To Dive, a Scuba Diving club in Manchester, is excited to invite you to a Snorkelling Course, an event that provides an easily accessible way of exploring the underwater world. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, this course is suitable for all ages and abilities.
Led by our experienced course instructor, who has been qualified since 1993, this course is a great opportunity to learn and improve your snorkelling skills. Our instructor is accredited by multiple agencies such as PADI, BSAC, AIDA, and SSI, ensuring you receive top-notch training.
The Snorkelling Course consists of two evening training sessions and costs £32 per person. To ensure a great learning experience, we require a minimum of two people to participate in the course.
When it comes to equipment, we've got you covered. You will need fins, a mask, a snorkel, and a wetsuit if you're diving in colder climates. Fins provide efficient propulsion through the water, allowing you to swim against currents. It's recommended to invest in quality fins for a smoother experience. The mask should fit comfortably and have an enclosed nose for breathing and clearing ears. Snorkels come in various shapes, sizes, colours, and materials, so it's important to choose one that feels comfortable. Wetsuits, on the other hand, provide warmth and protection in colder waters.
Of course, safety is our top priority. We encourage participants to only snorkel in designated sites where help is obtainable. It's always best to avoid snorkelling alone and to wear proper equipment. Additionally, we remind everyone to minimise contact with the reef, equalise ear pressure when diving, and, most importantly, respect the environment.
By joining our Snorkelling Course, you'll not only gain the necessary knowledge and techniques to enjoy and explore the underwater world but also contribute to the preservation of the environment. Don't miss out on this immersive experience and sign up today!
