The PaddleALL (Special Olympics) program at Carleton Place Canoe Club aims to promote inclusivity in sprint Canoe Kayak for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The initiative offers recreational and sprint canoe and kayak experiences under the guidance of certified coaches. While all abilities are welcome, participants should feel comfortable around water. Competitive opportunities are also available for those looking to take their skills to the next level in races on the water. Details about event participation and dates will be shared at the start of the season, but feel free to reach out with any questions or interest in trying out a race this summer.
The canoe/kayak community in Canada is known for its friendly and welcoming nature, making the PaddleALL and Special Olympics programs a great way to enjoy the outdoors, meet new people, and stay active. Join the fun from June 10th to August 19th, 2024, every Monday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This exciting program is open to participants aged 8 and above as of January 1st, 2024. Get ready to paddle your way to new experiences and connections this summer!
