The Carleton Place Canoe Club, serving Carleton Place and surrounding communities since 1893, is an athletic club located on the picturesque shores of the Mississippi River in the heart of Carleton Place. Surrounded by parks, the local beach, natural walking paths, and just steps from the Carleton Place High School, the canoe club provides the perfect setting for individuals of all ages and skill levels to enjoy the outdoors while participating in the exhilarating sport of sprint canoe/kayak.

The club offers a variety of programs to cater to a wide range of interests and abilities. From recreational programs for beginners to sprint racing development and high-performance programs for athletes looking to compete at the highest levels, the Carleton Place Canoe Club has something for everyone. With programs starting at the U10 age group and continuing to U18, as well as Senior High Performance, Special Olympics, and Adult Canoe/Kayak programs, there is ample opportunity for individuals to push their limits and achieve their goals.
