The Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association (PCAHA) is a prominent sports organization based in Burnaby, British Columbia. The PCAHA is committed to promoting the ideals of scholastic achievement and sportsmanship through participation in Minor Hockey at the U18 and U21 levels.
Each year, the PCAHA hosts six special recognition events known as Scholarship Tournaments. The tournaments include the U18 C Scholarship Tournament, Fraser Valley “C” U18 Scholarship Tournament, Jim Fryer Memorial U18 C Scholarship Tournament, U21 Scholarship Tournament, U18 A Scholarship Tournament, and Female U18 Scholarship Tournament.
To be eligible to participate, players must meet certain age and registration requirements as well as demonstrate good sportsmanship. The tournaments feature various formats such as round-robin games, final games, and championship finals, providing an exciting and competitive environment for players to compete in.
The PCAHA also honours the traditional lands of Indigenous peoples across Canada, including First Nations, Inuit, and Mtis communities. The organization is dedicated to fostering a sense of respect and appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous peoples.
