The studio accepts online payments, but for those who are unable to use this method, cash is accepted during class, with the request to only bring paper money and not coins. The studio takes pride in offering a unique class called Yoga Fit, specifically designed for women of a certain age. Recognising that attending regular fitness classes might be daunting for many women in this age group, Orange Blossom Yoga aims to create a safe and sustainable workout experience that builds strength, cardio fitness, suppleness, and flexibility, without the risk of injury or embarrassment. The class incorporates a yoga warm-up, a strength routine using body weight, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that can be adjusted to individual fitness levels, and concludes with a short yoga practise for flexibility and pelvic floor support. There is absolutely no running or burpees involved, providing a welcoming environment for all.
In addition to the Yoga Fit class, Orange Blossom Yoga offers various other classes throughout the week, including a Wednesday Morning class at the Wye Road Community Centre from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and a Wednesday evening class at the Priory School in Hanford from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. These classes cater to all levels and welcome participants of any experience.
To maximise comfort during the classes, participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and water bottles. Additionally, attendees may choose to bring their own hand weights, providing a personalised element to their workout.
Before attending any class, it is important for individuals to seek approval from their GP to ensure that they are able to train safely. Furthermore, informing the instructor of any injuries or illnesses will enable them to accommodate and modify exercises accordingly.
