During winter, Cliff Lakes offers Winter Swim Courses, providing the ideal setting to embrace the magic of cold-water swimming. Swimmers can choose from two different courses: the White course (80 meters) for a balanced challenge and enjoyment, or the Orange course (200 meters) for a more extensive and rewarding aquatic adventure.
For all the cold water enthusiasts out there, joining the Sub10 Club is a must. As part of NOWCA's cold water community, the club connects like-minded swimmers and promotes the physical and mental health benefits of cold water swimming in a safe and beautiful setting. Sub10 Club members have the opportunity to earn embroidered badges at their 10, 25, and 50 Sub10 swim milestones, with no minimum or maximum number of swims required.
Starting from May 6th, 2023, the NOWCA system will be implemented at Cliff Lakes, requiring swimmers to purchase a NOWCA band for their swimming sessions. Existing members can simply renew their membership and reactivate their NOWCA wristband for continued access.
New members looking to join the NOWCA network can do so for the price of one cup of coffee a month. By paying the annual membership fee and selecting 'Cliff Lakes' as the band pick-up location during the signup process, new members will be ready to embark on their swimming journey, gaining access to various swimming venues nationwide, including Cliff Lakes.
To ensure a smooth check-in process, swimmers are encouraged to use their NOWCA bands. These bands can be topped up with swim credits and used for purchases from our shop. In addition, all Cliff Lakes customers can take advantage of free car parking. By submitting their number plate, swimmers' parking will be validated until March 31st, 2024, eliminating the need for submission each time they visit.
Booking swim sessions in advance is not necessary. Simply turn up during the available swim sessions, scan your band at the BluWater entrance, and get ready to enjoy a fantastic swim at Cliff Lakes.
