This 45-minute course is the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge and learn about the essential safety measures involved in swimming during the colder months. The course will cover a wide range of important topics that will ensure your safety and enjoyment during winter swims.
Participants are required to bring their own swimming costume, as well as a bright hat to enhance visibility in the water. Goggles are optional, but if you prefer to use them, feel free to bring a pair along. If you need ear plugs to protect your ears from the cold, please make sure to bring them too. It is recommended to have a tow float, as it is the preferred method for added safety during winter swims.
Additionally, participants should come prepared with appropriate footwear and socks to keep their feet warm before and after the swim.
