One Soul Yoga, located in Southsea, Portsmouth, is a haven for those seeking to ground, strengthen, and deepen their own practise of yoga and beyond in compassion. Founded by Andrea, a Yoga Alliance RYT certified yoga teacher, One Soul Yoga offers a welcoming and nurturing space for individuals of all levels to embark on their yoga journey.
Andrea's own yoga journey began when someone asked her, “Have you tried yoga? ” From her very first class, she was instantly hooked, discovering that yoga brought her soul joy, peace, and understanding. Yoga has since become an essential part of Andrea's self-care regimen, providing her with mental and emotional strength, confidence building, and stability in her life. With up to 20 years of yoga practise under her belt, Andrea understands the initial apprehension that can come with stepping into a yoga class for the first time.
However, she encourages everyone to give it a try and offers classes for beginners and intermediate practitioners.
At One Soul Yoga, you will find a variety of classes, courses, workshops, and retreats designed to cater to different preferences and needs. Whether you're looking for a gentle Hatha yoga session, a restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra experience, or a deeper exploration of asanas through Yoga Asana Alignment, One Soul Yoga has something for everyone. New for 2024, they are introducing a One Day Yoga Retreat, where you can nurture and nourish your mind, body, and soul in a full day of relaxation, rebalancing, and rejuvenation.
The classes are held at Eastney Community Centre on Wednesdays from 6pm to 7pm during term-time. Booking in advance is essential, and beginners and intermediate practitioners are welcome. The classes focus on developing and deepening your yoga practise, building flexibility, confidence, and strength of mind and body. Prices for classes start at $10 for a single class, $50 for a block booking of six classes, and $90 for the One Day Yoga Retreat.
