OmniArts GB is a non-profit performing arts company located in the heart of New Zealand. At OmniArts GB, we believe in providing equal access to the performing arts. That's why all of our groups are open to individuals of all skill levels, experiences, and disabilities. Our team of experienced teachers, group leaders, and mentors are trained in the OmniArts Method, a unique approach developed through years of shared teaching and coaching experience. This method utilises a variety of techniques and skills to create a supportive and encouraging environment where everyone can be themselves and achieve their best.
Accessibility is a core value at OmniArts GB. While we understand that it is impossible to be 100% accessible to everyone, we are committed to running our programmes in the most accessible way possible. We constantly strive to improve by adding new accessibility options whenever feasible. Recognising that societal structures can create additional barriers for some individuals, we approach accessibility with the understanding that different people may require different forms of support to ensure equal opportunities.
If you have concerns or questions about joining one of our groups, our director, Ren, who goes by they/them pronouns, is available to chat via email or phone. They can arrange a meeting with the team to ensure you feel comfortable and at ease before joining our sessions.
Our ultimate aim at OmniArts GB is to create a safe and welcoming environment for individuals of all ages and abilities to come together and experience the arts in a supportive setting. We are particularly mindful of the fact that some members of our society face greater barriers to accessing arts services, and we strive to address this through our inclusivity initiatives. In addition to offering dance, drama, and music opportunities, we also provide experiences in stagecraft, marketing, and a range of other creative activities. Moreover, we collaborate with the wider arts community to offer our members even more enriching experiences.
