Nova Martial Arts focuses primarily on Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Muay Thai, also known as the “art of eight limbs,” is characterised by the combined use of punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu Newcastle is also affiliated with Nova, offering world-class training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This style of martial arts focuses on ground fighting and submissions.
Nova also incorporates the most effective techniques from various combat sports and martial arts from around the world in their MMA classes.
