For new members looking to join, spaces are now available to book. All members are required to have British Gymnastics Membership.

The club offers recreational gymnastics classes during term time for children ages 4–16 years. These classes focus on floor, tumble, and vault skills and are designed to cater to individual abilities and foster skill development while ensuring a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. The club follows the RISE – British Gymnastics Award Scheme, allowing gymnasts to work towards earning badges. Additionally, an annual club competition is held for gymnasts aged 4 years and above.

All coaches at Northwood Gymnastics are qualified with British Gymnastics and undergo DBS checks. Furthermore, all Lead Coaches are trained in first aid to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

The club also runs a Holiday Club during most school holidays, excluding Christmas. This programme is available for children ages 4–16 years and offers the opportunity to practise gymnastic skills such as tumble, floor, and vault. The Holiday Club also includes gymnastics-related games, team-building activities, and badge testing at the end of the week.

For those interested in more advanced gymnastics training, Northwood Gymnastics offers Invitation Groups. The Development Group is for children aged 5–7 years old who are training to prepare for the Advance/Advance Plus or Squad groups. The Advance Group is for gymnasts who excel in recreational classes but are not yet ready for the squad. The Advance Plus Group consists of gymnasts who are almost ready for the squad and have more advanced skills.

The Squad Group comprises the club's elite gymnasts.

While the club does not compete at the regional level, they do host their own competitions against other local clubs.
