At the grassroots level, the Junior Norths Bulldogs operate at the original sites of the founding clubs, namely Onepoto in Titahi Bay and Porirua Park in Porirua East. This deliberate placement allows for easier and safer access to mid-week trainings, making it more convenient for families.
The junior section of the club is highly organised and supported by numerous dedicated volunteer coaches and parents. With over 500 children aged between 3-13 participating in rugby every weekend, the focus of the junior sections is to provide young individuals with the opportunity to learn essential sports and life skills while enjoying themselves and maintaining good health.
Although Norths is a relatively young club, it has already produced impressive talent. The club boasts an All Black captain, All Blacks players, Junior All Blacks representatives, two IRB Young Players of the Year, New Zealand 7s players, Black Ferns representatives, as well as international players from Samoa, Tonga, and the Cook Islands. Additionally, Norths has contributed players to the New Zealand Secondary School team.
