The Northern Districts Little Athletics Centre (NDLAC) is thrilled to announce the start of the 2024 Cross Country season on Sunday, April 29, 2024. This season will stretch across 8 weeks and athletes can jump in mid-season, even if they missed the kickoff event.
The grand finale of the season is set for June 24, 2024, featuring a reverse handicap that promises lots of excitement! Registered athletes with NDLAC, another Little Athletics Centre, or a senior athletics club can participate without any extra fees. New members signing up for the Cross Country season will pay a registration fee of $40, which will be reimbursed if they decide to join our 2024-25 NDLAC Summer season.
Athletes in different age groups will tackle various race distances during the cross country season, ranging from 500m for U6 and younger to 3000m for the open age category. Remember, our U6 and Tiny Tots can only compete in the 500m race.
Parents, we'd greatly appreciate your help each week with setting up, marshalling the course, managing finishers, and packing up afterward. Your support means a lot to us!
Registered U7-17 athletes are eligible to enter the Little Athletics NSW (LANSW) XC Championships. While uniforms are optional for our cross country series, they must be worn along with the registration number, age patch, and Coles logo at the LANSW XC Championships.
Parking might be tricky within the grounds on match days, so please avoid parking on the western side of Lancelot Street where Course C is set. Opt for the eastern side or Foxglove Road instead.
In case of cancellations, updates will be shared via the Team App and our Facebook page. We suggest families arrive a bit earlier (by 3:30pm) on the first week to sort out registrations and payments, and take a stroll on the course. Athletes should aim to be there by 3:45pm for the following weeks.

Get ready for an incredible season of cross country running with NDLAC!
