

Northenden Fitness & Yoga is a well-established yoga studio located in Northenden, South Manchester, offering a range of classes and courses suitable for individuals of all ages and abilities. The studio is dedicated to providing a gentle, non-competitive environment where students can explore their yoga practise and improve their overall fitness and wellbeing.
The yoga classes at Northenden Fitness & Yoga are based on the principles of hatha yoga and include a combination of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and guided relaxation/meditation. Each class is one hour long and provides full and modified versions of each asana, allowing students to adapt their practise according to their individual needs and abilities.
The studio offers mixed ability hatha yoga classes every Monday from 18. 45 to 19. 45, as well as a six-week beginners' course starting on September 9th, 2019, from 20. 00 to 21.
00. Additionally, there is a Hatha flow class every Saturday from 10. 00 to 11. 00, specifically designed for individuals with basic level experience and beyond.
All classes take place at the Northenden Methodist Church Hall on Palatine Road.
It is recommended that participants wear comfortable clothing and bring a drink and a warm jumper for the final relaxation. While it is encouraged to bring your own yoga mat, the studio does provide several spare mats and props for those who do not have their own. The drop-in fee for each class is six pounds, but it is advised to book in advance to secure a spot.
