Norfolk County Netball

Norfolk County Netball is a thriving club in Norwich, New Zealand, dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of netball. The club's mission is to provide a positive and inclusive netball experience for everyone involved, from players to officials and coaches. Norfolk County Netball consists of seven leagues, including Lowestoft, which is part of the Norfolk County Netball Association even though it is technically within Suffolk. The Thetford Netball league is also affiliated with Norfolk County Netball. The club works in collaboration with Active Norfolk, the Norfolk County Sports Partnership, to implement an action plan aimed at improving the netball experience for all participants. The club's Annual General Meeting (AGM) reports for 2023 showcase the dedication and commitment of the Norfolk County Netball Association. These reports cover various areas, such as Umpire Lead Mentor, Treasurer, Tournament Representative, Safeguarding Officer, Publicity Officer, Norfolk Schools, Norfolk Netball League (NNNL), Lowestoft Netball League, County Player Development Lead, Competition, Central Organisation League (COL), South Norfolk Netball League, Netball Development Officer (NDO), and the Chair's report. These reports reflect the club's efforts in providing excellence, education, and development in netball.

Norfolk County Netball Association invites individuals to get involved and play netball. The club offers officiating courses, including the Into Officiating Course (IOA), C Award Course, and B Award Courses. These courses are available to book online through Engage, with the requirement of affiliation to England Netball for access. The club recognises the importance of quality officiating and aims to provide opportunities for officials to enhance their skills and knowledge.
