Are you the owner of Judy Habbitts School of Dance?

Welcome to the Judy Habbitts School of Dance, located in Norwich. This dance school offers classes for children as young as two years old all the way through to adults, in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. There is no age limit at this school, as dancing is enjoyed by people of all ages. Both boys and girls are welcome to join and experience the joy of dance.
The school's philosophy is centred around happiness, humour, and a pure love of dance. Students are encouraged to achieve great things in their lessons. Judy Habbitts, the founder of the school, has over 55 years of teaching experience and has entered exams year after year with the I. S.
T. D. (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing), who set a very high standard. Remarkably, in those years, only around 20 cases have fallen short of reaching the standard.
The pass rate is generally very high, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the students.
Many of the pupils at the Judy Habbitts School of Dance are second-generation dancers, demonstrating the lasting impact and strong sense of community that the school fosters. Some adults have been dancing with Judy for over 30 years, highlighting the loyalty and trust that exists between the students and the school. Judy truly considers the school an extension of her family, and this is evident in her teaching style and the relationships she forms with both students and parents.
Classes are held at the Bob Carter Centre in Drayton, Norwich. Parents are encouraged to feel at home and are invited to watch classes before enrolling their children. This allows them to see the teaching and atmosphere of the school firsthand, ensuring that it aligns with their values and expectations.
Term times at the Judy Habbitts School of Dance are as follows: the spring term typically starts on April 13th, with half-term dates falling between May 25th and 30th. The spring term ends on July 10th, making it a 12-week term, which is slightly shorter than the usual academic term length. This adjustment is to accommodate the fact that students often tyre towards the end of the main school term and may find additional activities after school to be overwhelming.
Judy Habbitts is also actively involved in the Race for Life, an annual event that helps raise funds for a worthy cause. Each year, she participates in the race, with around 15,000 people taking part. Sarah-Jayne, a member of the school's team, leads the warm-up for the race. If you would like to support this cause, you can donate in person during class or send your donation to Judy Habbitts at Arley House, 49 Bracondale, Norwich, NR1 2AT.
