Margaret's journey with yoga spans over 12 years, with experience in various styles such as Hatha, Yin, Wall, and hot yoga.
Margaret's passion for yoga led her to complete a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course at Adi Shesha Yoga Zone, where she discovered her love for teaching. Despite initial doubts about not fitting the “typical yoga body” stereotype, Margaret soon realized that yoga is for everyone, regardless of age or physical ability. This realization ignited her desire to share the benefits of yoga with others, leading to the creation of New Moon Yoga.
At New Moon Yoga, students can expect a supportive and encouraging environment where they can deepen their practice and improve their strength, balance, and flexibility. In addition to regular group classes held in various neighbourhoods, Margaret also offers one-on-one sessions for those seeking a more personalized experience. Her classes incorporate elements of Yoga Tune Up to provide a holistic approach to yoga practice, focusing on therapeutic ball work and the body's mechanics.
New Moon Yoga's class schedule for the upcoming Winter Sessions in 2024 includes a variety of offerings such as Strengthen & Lengthen, Gentle Mobility, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Chair Yoga. Classes are available both in-person and via Zoom, catering to individual preferences and schedules. Interested students can opt for a “Try a Class” option for $12, subject to availability.
