Newmarket Lawn Bowling Club is a small recreational club nestled in the heart of Newmarket, Ontario. Our members range in age and experience levels, with the main focus being on enjoyment and camaraderie. If you're interested in trying out lawn bowling, we invite you to join us for a free evening any Monday or Thursday at our club.
Similar to other lawn sports like curling, shuffleboard, or bocce, the object of lawn bowling is to get your bowls as close as possible to the Jack (the small white ball). We aim to create a supportive environment where both novice and experienced players can come together to learn, socialize, and have a great time. While some members have their own bowls, we have equipment available for those who need it.
Our club is located in Lion's Club Park, right beside the tennis courts and the Peter Gorham Pool. Parking is convenient, with spots available by entering the laneway off Lorne Avenue or using the lot on the west side of Church Street.
