After a period of hiatus, Meridian Equestrian Marketing Ltd made a comeback in 2018, securing five lovely and straightforward young Irish Sport horses. Three of these horses have already been sold. Sue Ringrose, with her 45 years of competitive experience, has evented horses at various levels, many of which have achieved positive results on the international stage with other riders. One of the fantastic all-rounders/future eventers currently available for sale is Leo, a smart ISH bay gelding by Lock Key. Standing at 16. 1hh and five years old, Leo is known for his polite ride and trainable brain. He showcases three correct paces and is capable of producing a quality dressage test.
Leo has also demonstrated great ability over fences and has been schooled at local BS venues, where he jumps coloured fences and fillers in a good rhythm. He has competed at 80-90 cm and has the potential to go much further.
Moreover, Leo has cross country schooled and excelled in tackling various challenges such as water, ditches, and steps with a positive forward attitude. He has also been introduced to hounds, behaving impeccably in a snaffle without being strong or silly. In hunting, Leo can go first or last, patiently waiting his turn and successfully jumping everything asked of him. With his outstandingly kind temperament and attitude towards life, Leo is a pleasure to look after and is a favourite at the yard.
