The Nanaimo Hornets Mini Rugby Program is a fantastic opportunity for kids aged 3 to 12 to get involved in the exciting sport of rugby. With a focus on FUNdamental movement and skill development, children of all skill levels are welcome to join in on the fun. The program has seen great growth since it was revived in 2022, with over 350 members benefiting from Club and After School Programs in 2023.
Every Thursday, the club holds regular sessions where kids can hone their rugby skills, followed by a delicious spaghetti dinner for players to enjoy. The upcoming Mini Program session kicks off on Thursday, March 28, 2024, and runs for 10 weeks of Thursday night sessions. The program wraps up with each child receiving a Nanaimo Hornets replica jersey on April 6, 2024, followed by a scrumptious pancake breakfast for the whole family. And don't worry, we have you covered with a tasty spaghetti dinner after every session in the club house - siblings who aren't playing are more than welcome to join!
