The Concept of Kendo Kendo is a traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on the principles of the katana (sword). It is not only a physically demanding activity but also a way to discipline the human character. Through rigorous training, practitioners of kendo develop self-control, mental strength, and a deep respect for themselves and others. The ultimate goal of kendo is to achieve a state of mushin, or an empty mind, where the practitioner can react instinctively and seamlessly to their opponent's movements.
