Welcome to MY Martial Arts, a leading martial arts academy in Darwen, Northwest since 2005. With a focus on creating black belts, our academy prides itself on delivering fun, successful, and energetic training programmes for individuals of all ages in Darwen and surrounding areas.
At MY Martial Arts, we offer specialised programmes for juniors, cadets, and adults, designed to deliver tangible results. Our goal is to help you or your child achieve that coveted black belt.
Our Junior Classes cater to children aged 3–6 years and are designed to teach valuable life skills, such as respect, manners, self-defence, confidence building, and more, all through interactive play and engaging activities.
For children aged 7–11 years, our Cadet Classes focus on equipping them with both physical and emotional self-defence skills. Our aim is to nurture well-rounded, confident, and respectful individuals who will become the leaders of the future.
Adults aged 12 and above can benefit from our Adult Classes, which offer a variety of advantages, including weight loss, increased muscle tone, and confidence building. Join our fun and exciting adult class where you can punch, kick, and work your way to fitness.
For those truly dedicated to martial arts, we offer the MY Martial Arts Dojo Elite. This advanced class provides additional training opportunities, allowing members to progress through the ranks at an accelerated pace without compromising on skill or experience.

We have a convenient class schedule, with Junior Classes held at 5:00 pm, Cadet Classes at 5:50 pm, and Adult Classes at 6:45 pm. Our new venue, located at M&M Building inside Duckworth Street, offers a top-floor facility for all our classes in Darwen.
Additionally, MY Martial Arts is committed to making a positive impact beyond the dojo. We actively participate in charitable events, such as The Ribbon Run, where Mr. Yankey will be completing a 5 km run in October to raise funds for the charity Sands. As part of our fundraising efforts, students attending our kickboxing classes can wear pink or something pink in exchange for a voluntary donation.
