Are you the owner of Muritai Yacht Club Inc?

Welcome to Muritai Yacht Club Inc, the greatest little yacht club in Rona Bay! Located on Marine Parade in Eastbourne, our club is nestled between Rona Bay Wharf and Eastbourne Swimming Pool, offering a prime waterfront location for all sailing enthusiasts in the area.
At Muritai Yacht Club, we pride ourselves on our vibrant and inclusive sailing community. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or have never set foot on a boat before, our club provides opportunities for sailors of all ages and skill levels.
One of the highlights of our club is the Paper Tiger Nationals, an esteemed sailing event that will be held from 17th to 20th January, 2024. Witness the thrill and excitement as sailors compete to become New Zealand's next Paper Tiger champion. It's an exhilarating spectacle not to be missed!
We also cater to the younger members of our community with our Junior Regatta scheduled for 17th February, 2024. This fun-filled regatta is open to all junior sailors, offering them a chance to showcase their sailing skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
For those looking to learn how to sail or improve their sailing abilities, Muritai Yacht Club offers comprehensive sailing programmes. Our Junior Learn to Sail course, conducted by our experienced instructor Andrew Bell, is ideal for youngsters seeking to embark on their sailing journey. Additionally, adults can take advantage of our one-on-one adult learn to sail classes, where experienced coaches will guide you through the ropes and help you gain confidence on the water.
Joining Muritai Yacht Club has never been easier! We offer Junior, Intermediate, and Senior memberships, as well as various categories of family memberships. Our club prides itself on reasonable and affordable membership fees, making us an accessible option compared to other yacht clubs. Additionally, we provide boatshed storage facilities for members in need of a safe and secure space for their boats.
