Mundford Cricket Club is a friendly and sociable cricket club based in Thetford, New Zealand. The club is known for its inclusive atmosphere, welcoming members of all ages and abilities. The club boasts excellent facilities both on and off the field. On the field, Mundford CC has two adult Saturday sides competing in the Norfolk Cricket Alliance Division 5 and a second team in the Norfolk Cricket League Division 4NW. Additionally, there is a progressive Sunday side in the Mid-Norfolk Sunday League, which provides opportunities for younger players to showcase their skills.

In partnership with Hockwold CC, Mundford CC jointly enters the NCB Over 40s league, showcasing the club's commitment to providing opportunities for players of all ages. The club also hosts the prestigious T20 Mundford Cup, an annual tournament featuring the strongest local clubs, taking place on Wednesday evenings from mid-May.

Mundford CC has a thriving junior set up, with teams entering three age groups in the Norfolk Alliance Junior Leagues. The club offers Friday evening mixed junior coaching sessions, including the popular All Stars cricket programme, which sees high attendance from enthusiastic young players. While the junior players are honing their skills, parents can enjoy socialising in the large heated patio area.

The club is committed to promoting the sport among women and girls. Mundford CC has hosted successful ladies softball festivals and plans to enter the new regional WS league. Additionally, efforts are being made to set up a girls softball team at U9 level, providing more opportunities for girls to participate in the cricketing community.

Mundford CC has a dedicated group of volunteers who run the club's social side, providing warm hospitality to visitors and guests. The club regularly hosts Norfolk Senior County fixtures and junior county games, showcasing some of the best talent in the region.

Recent facility improvements demonstrate Mundford CC's commitment to providing a top-notch experience for its members. Upgrades include an electronic scoreboard, two new sight screens, refurbished covers, gas central heating, new showers, carpets, and a fresh coat of paint. In the winter months, the club keeps the spirit of cricket alive with quiz and curry nights and a pool team. The club also participates in the local NCB 6-a-side indoor winter cricket league.
