Belly Bliss Yoga, a Yoga club in Hobart, is excited to announce their upcoming event: Mums and Bubs Yoga. This special yoga class is specifically designed for mothers who are looking to nurture themselves after the birth of their child.
The Mums and Bubs Yoga class provides a wonderful opportunity for mothers to strengthen and re-tone their abdominal and pelvic floor muscles through a series of strengthening exercises. Additionally, the class focuses on teaching yogic postures that can help alleviate physical tension, while also promoting body alignment during feeding and carrying the baby.
But it's not just about the physical benefits. Mindful breathing and deep relaxation techniques are also taught in this class, bringing a sense of calm and balance into the lives of these amazing mothers. And what's even better is that this class is held with the baby present, creating a supportive and affirming environment where mothers can connect and share their experiences of motherhood.
Belly Bliss Yoga offers two different courses for Mums and Bubs Yoga. The Foundation course is available for enrolment as soon as mothers feel ready after giving birth, while the Progressive course requires some postpartum recovery before attending. Both courses run for a duration of 10 weeks, with classes taking place once a week.
The upcoming course for Term One 2024 will start on Monday, January 22nd. The Mums and Bubs Yoga classes will run from 11am to 12:20pm, while the Progressive course will run from 12:40pm to 2pm. The cost for each course is $235.
These classes are suitable for all women who have recently given birth, including those who have had a c-section, as well as those with no previous yoga experience. So, whether you are a new mom or an experienced one, this class is perfect for you!
